I read some reviews that knocked the metal and wood finish of the spatula. Mine came today and the wood and metal are beautiful and rather polished. This thing is very stiff....the way a smash burger spatula should be. I am very glad I bought it.

This well-made spatula is very wide, the blade does not bend with even a very strong "push" and because of its size and tapered edge, it can be used for a variety of kitchen chores including smashing butter for a party butter board!
