I got this big strong spatula to replace my previous burger smashing spatula. It was a much flimsier one from the grocery store kitchenware aisle, and I'd have to re-bend it back into shape after each moderate-intensity burger press.
Not with this bad boy! Push push push -- no more bending! I can finally get those super thin patty griddle spreads with the crispy crust that we all dream of.
I wasn't sure if I'd like it enough to justify the premium price, but they haven't paid me a dime for this endorsement and I just love it. Get one! Or don't! I already have mine, what do I care?

Very solid construction, good heat isolation from the handle. Excellent leverage if you want to really press down on the burger, but also can lift quite well if you need to lug a pork shoulder off the grill.
