It's a heavy duty spatula. No flex, very sturdy. I was skeptical about it being good for cast iron, but actually seems to work really well on them. Not sure how this compares to similar, less expensive ones elsewhere, but it's definitely worth throwing out your old plastic POS for this one.

I'm so impressed with this spatula for my cast iron skillet cooking. It flips the eggs perfectly, getting up even the good crusty almost burnt parts. Makes cleaning the cast irons a breeze as well
