both the pepper cannon and this smaller one are excellent. They maintain the grind perfectly. Set it where u want and it stays there. Excellent quality. I have had no less than 20 pepper grinders and this one I think will be the last. I make my wife carry the travel one in her purse for when we eat out!

This just came today as a gift for my husband and we BOTH love it. He immediately tried it out with the Mannkitchen pepper & can't wait to bring it to our favorite cafe tomorrow morning for breakfast. It's got the red cap and is a serious A+++. Don't wait on this. What a great gift!!! He's LOVED the original cannon for years so adding this to the collection seemed natural and we love it. We are Mannkitchen supporters for life!
Item is great, love the versatility, the tactile feel is wonderful and having a holster case is great. The only feedback I'd offer is that the holster could use with being a tiny bit bigger so it isn't as much of an issue to take the grinder in and out of. Secondly, my purchase didn't come with instructions explaining about my purchase or how to use the accessories, luckily I'd bought a standard size previously and i could refer to that set, but it should have been included.
The new travel size pepper grinders are the perfect size for your RV or camper. This is my 3rd pepper cannon and I am absolutely loving them all. I am still holding out for a travel size salt grinder.
