The Pepper Cannon produces extravagant quantities of fresh ground pepper. Decrease the coarseness and crank less if you cannot handle the full power.
Ordinary mills can only grind pepper in the 12-28 mesh size range. The Pepper Cannon can grind from 8 to over 60. It can grind coarse enough for stocks and roast beef, and finer than the pre-ground pepper you have been forced to buy because your mill wasn’t up to the task. A double-bearing supported drive shaft that powers high-carbon stainless steel burrs ensure you get the best grind, every time.
The grind adjuster is on the base where the action is. Dual spring-plungers and detents keep it in place so your setting will stay until you change it.
You can easily remove and replace the top with a push of a button. No need to mess with your grind setting or make any adjustments. Intuitive and simple.
Pre-grind up to ⅓ cup of pepper into the base for easy one-hand seasoning. No need to wash your hands mid-seasoning after flipping your raw steak.
The Pepper Cannon is milled from a solid piece of Aerospace Grade Aluminum. It is then anodized black for a durable, non-reactive and easy to clean surface. The hardened high-carbon stainless steel burrs crush the pepper effortlessly.
Finally a pepper mill that works. I was concerned because the cost BUT it's worth it. I love the ability to change the size of the grind and how easy it is to use.
I was looking for a pepper grinder that can produce pepper tor dry rubs which I make in quantity and store till needed. Trying to produce a half cup or more of ground pepper is agony with a wimpy tool. An old crank grinder I had did the job well but most parts were made of plastic and it just fell apart over time. An expensive substitute didn't produce nearly enough and required way too much physical effort to produce enough pepper. The obvious problem was I was not spending enough money to solve the problem, and the Pepper Cannon delivers excellent results at a cost appropriate for a professional level kitchen tool. The heavy weight and feel, metal assembly, aggressive grinding mechanism, and the overall engineering is perfect for large quantities, plus it's excellent for kitchen and table use. The pepper grinder performed exactly as advertised. It is solidly constructed. The grinder outputs an amazing. amount of pepper with minimal twisting. The grinding mechanism is smooth and twists quite easily when grinding. Refilling the pepper is made very easy. Definitely the best grinder I have ever owned.
